INFANTS: 

Adults usually do not change much in year or two but in contrast a newborns are  in constant changes. The first two years of life, the force of biosocial growth and development  are very powerful. the infants quickly outgrow one set of clothes after another, attempt new behaviors almost daily and display a rapidly increasing mastery of emerging skill: Sit ...stand....walk... run! reach.. touch.. grab.... throw....  point...poke.... pinch  all these changes are biological but they are also facilitated  by the social context  and as childcare Little Giants provide the social environment that  protect and encourage the infant's  development.
